Founding Years

Emilia Limpantsi and Nikos Limpantsis came from Veria with a rural vehicle and settled in Corfu. They opened their first wholesale store at the Municipal People's Market in Corfu. They mainly bought products from Macedonia and supplied the greengrocers of Corfu.
After a few years, they expanded with 10 stores in the Municipal People's Market in Corfu. This expansion demonstrates the initial success of their venture and their ability to grow within the same market.



Since we spread throughout Greece, we created our own factory in Ypato Thivas 11,000 sqm. There we performed cutting and packaging of fruits and salads, on the occasion of the Olympic Games in Athens, as we had undertaken the supply of the Olympic Village. At that time, we focused on importing products such as apples, potatoes, pears, lettuces, lemons from North America, Argentina, Egypt, Italy, Germany, etc.
